  • Business Improvement Consultant

The Business Improvement Consultant is responsible for both supporting large programs as well as leading small to medium initiatives including automation opportunities to improve delivery, service management and business processes across the organization.

This role requires collaboration with stakeholders from across the organization- including delivery teams, enabling teams, leaders and Business Sponsors - to analyze data, map processes and communicate opportunities for the initiatives that they are supporting. In addition, the Xodian will benefit from experience in facilitating and leading small group sessions with stakeholders for the initiatives they are supporting as required.

Leverage process excellence best practices from Agile, Lean, DevOps and other toolboxes to design both efficient and scalable processes in order to accommodate future growth. By identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in our clients processes. Our team strives to empower our members to be agents of change and problem solvers, while continuously improving processes to achieve operational excellence.

Core elements of the role are...

  • Help drive business process improvement efforts across our clients to ensure appropriate standardization, efficiencies and best practices are employed

  • Ensure best practices and process management tools are applied to help solve business challenges

  • Lead/support continuous improvement or cost saving initiatives

  • Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership to the business process stakeholder

  • Partner with functional support groups to implement process improvements
    Lead business process design work on small to medium in complexity initiatives and support process discovery work

  • Map and analyze current state business processes as required

  • Design future state processes as required

  • Effectively adhere to the principles from e.g. Lean methods

  • Document and clearly articulate scope/responsibilities for each assigned engagement
    Communicate progress status and issues to stakeholders

  • Coach stakeholders in challenging the status quo and nurture a continuous improvement mindset

You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.

You have 3+ years of experience leading business process improvement initiatives and change projects.

You have experience with applying process integration practices to complex environments
